The Introductction
The Application & Function
Cefminox has a strong affinity with penicillin binding protein, can inhibit the synthesis of bacterial cell wall, and bind to peptide polysaccharide, inhibit peptide polysaccharide and lipoprotein to promote the dissolution of bacteria, and show strong bactericidal activity in a short time. It has strong activity against gram-positive and negative bacteria, and the bactericidal power is strong and rapid. In particular, it has strong activity against Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Serratia, Salmonella enteritidis, Proteus, Bacteroides fragile, stronger than other similar drugs, and stable β-lactamase produced by various bacteria. The activity against anaerobic coccus was worse than that of cefoxitin.
Cefminox is sensitive bacteria caused by palatine tonsillitis, peritonsillar abscess, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, chronic respiratory diseases with secondary infection, pneumonia, pulmonary sepsis, pyelonephritis, cholecystitis, cholangitis, peritonitis, cystitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, endometrial infection, paratrophal connective tissue inflammation, dead pelvic cavity inflammation, septicemia.
