The Introductction
Eprinomectin; MK-397) is a kind of avermectin, has repellent, insecticidal and acaricidal activity.
The Application & Function
Acetylaminoamectin has a insecticidal effect on nematodes and arthropods, can increase the release of the inhibitory transmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the insect body, and open the glutamate-controlled Cl- channel, enhance the permeability of the nerve membrane to Cl-, thus blocking the origin of nerve signals, and eventually nerve paralysis, muscle cells lose the ability to contract, resulting in the death of the insect body. The mammalian peripheral neurotransmitter is acetylcholine, GABA is distributed in the central nervous system, but because this class of drugs is not easy to pass the blood-brain barrier, and the effect on it is minimal, so it is relatively safe to use. The mechanism of the effects of these drugs on parasite reproduction is not clear, but they can reduce the number of eggs laid by ticks, abnormal egg morphology of ruminant nematodes and make filamentous nematodes infertile. Its maximum drug concentration in milk is much lower than that in plasma, and its distribution in milk is very low.
